How This All Began.....

I would love to say that White Cottage Blooms has been a smooth endeavor, but to be honest, it's been a work in progress, and a sweaty (or freezing) labor of love.  For the last two years, we've been growing plants, killing plants and perfecting growing these beauties all along the way.  

In 2022, our family purchased this beautiful 36 acre farm located in Duck River, Tennessee.  We moved here for the beauty, the closeness to nature and the peacefulness it provided. But from that first day here, we just had a gut feeling  that this farm had a soul of it's own, a bigger purpose.  We weren't really sure what that purpose was, or how it would evolve, but just knew we had to find it, and make the farm become what it was intended to be.  This is where many restless nights, a flower filled reoccurring dream and inspiration from a farm in Skagit Valley, Washington called Floret, come in.

This was the answer. A cut flower farm that would grow beautiful heirloom blooms that would find their way out to the people and homes in our community, and eventually to people all over Nashville and Middle Tennessee.  It was game on with big dreams ahead.

Since that time, we have grown thousands of beautiful blooms that have gone on to make beautiful bouquets and grace people's homes.  I've seen these flowers make people smile, heard from husbands that gave them to their wives and made their day, (or get them out of the doghouse) and from that, I knew we were doing what this farm intended.  This was the right purpose! Sharing it's beauty with everyone and bringing happiness to all that receives it's bounty.

That's our humble beginning, and now it is our mission and privilege to share these flowers with you.
